After you enter the contest take a look at Erin's third short film titled “Birds of a Fether” on Style.com. The film is beautifully shot, stylish and just plain cool! Would you expect anything less from Erin? Directed and produced by director/photographer Marisa Crawford, Birds of a Fether’
showcases the designer's Autumn-Winter 2009/2010 collection. The film's hip cast includes actress Paz De La Huerta, model/actress Ingrid Schram, models Daria Strokous, Kelsey Close, Rudi Ovchinnikova, Sacha Blue, and Karina G.
The film is just under 5 minutes and it is loosely inspired by the tale of the pied piper, showing Fetherston uncovering a magical trumpet which has washed ashore beneath the Brooklyn Bridge. Under the power of its enchantment, the designer takes to the streets of New York City and begins to collect a following of characters who emerge from the stoops and windows of the city's apartments, restaurants and ally-ways, all of whom are drawn to the magic. Fetherston and her collective, all dressed in the designer's collection, carry on in a near manic and highly visual procession through the streets of the West Village and Tribeca.
